2004 Redigaffi from Tua Rita

The 2004 Redigaffi from Tua Rita is an exceptional encapsulation of the boon year of 2004. This flagship vintage creatively breaks the mould of traditional Italian style showing devotion to richness and depth over brightness and acidity. The Tua Rita brand has continuously proven its place as a luminary in crafting splendid vintages from the Tuscan hills, with the 2004 Redigaffi arguably being the gemstone.

Fine Wines of Terroir Intensity

The 2004 vintage can be marked as a favourable year due to a balanced climatic experience which led to an optimal ripening season for wines in Italy. This vintage is indicative of an adroit balance of concentration, structure, and finesse. The weather conditions prevailed to create this fruit-driven Merlot-based wine which beautifully projects Tua Rita’s expression of its distinct terroir.

Craftsmanship and quality echo in each swirl and sip. Reverberating tastes embracing plush black cherries, sweet spices, and chocolate notes, married with vibrant acidity, hint towards its gravity and age-worthiness.

Fruitful Harvest; Exceptional Results

In the fruitful year of 2004, the Tuscan region benefited immensely from long warm days resulting in a timely harvest. This generosity of Mother Nature ensured succulent ripeness of Merlot grapes allowing Tua Rita to sculpt their masterpiece – a true delight for fine wine investors.

Its velvet-textured complexity resonates across the taste buds with intensity yet exhibits a titillating elegance unique to the iconic terroirs of Italy's coastal regions.

In conclusion, the 2004 Redigaffi stands out as one of the brightest stars in the constellation of fine wines from Italy. Its prowess holds a wondrously sublime balance of lush opulence and intensity in a bottle, an undisputed tribute to the tenacious craftsmanship of Tua Rita.

Whether it graces your palate or enhances your investment portfolio, this wine is an indispensable addition reflecting the remarkable attributes of its vintage year - an eloquent testament to the beauty of Italian winemaking.

The inky-colored 2004 Redigaffi, 100% Merlot aged for 16 months in new oak, offers expressive, nuanced aromatics along with sensations of richly-textured blue and black jammy fruit, minerals, mint, chocolate, spices and sweet toasted oak on big, powerful frame with notable underlying structure and a warm, resonating finish. Although it has enough structure and acidity to drink well for another decade or so, I enjoy Redigaffi most in its youth. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2016. Importer: Winebow, Montvale, NJ; tel.
